The Football Coaching Group provides football coaching for boys and girls. Our sessions cater for all abilities and provide the children with the opportunity to get active, learn new skills, fulfil their potential and enjoy the game.
The Football Coaching Group is based on a coaching model that helps boys and girls of all abilities to grow and develop their skills. Our sessions will include four key attributes that are vital for any developing young child playing football: Physical, Technical, Psychological and Social elements.
We help children to develop more than just their football skills, we help them to gain confidence, build self-esteem, learn to work as a team and most importantly enjoy the game.

I can’t rate The Football Coaching Group highly enough my son joined back June and has come on so much. He looks forward to going every week and loves playing in the matches. I can’t recommend The Football Coaching Group enough. Been there from day one and never had a bad session, both my children enjoy the coaching and how different it is from week to week and I have seen the improvement from both of them. It doesn’t matter what standard of player you are its all about encouragement, having fun and developing skills for the individual child. And although they are an Academy and not a team they still get to go to places like QPR and Maidstone. Nieve and Sam have always come off the pitch with a smile on their faces which is a true testament to Ian and all the coaches.

He has done both the football and goalkeeper sessions and comes home buzzing and happy every week. He has improved a lot since attending The Football Coaching Group and he has learnt so much from Ian and the guys there. My son loves The Football Coaching Group! Ian & the other coaches are fantastic and all provide a high standard of coaching in a really positive environment. They are constantly encouraging and every child has a smile on their face while they train. I love the fact that Jude is developing as a player but also having fun! He really enjoys the sessions, and has had the opportunity to play matches against Gillingham and Charlton etc which he’s loved.
